Former finance secretary RAJIV  KUMAR has been appointed as the chairperson  of  public enterprises selection board (PESB) the government ` head hunter of public sector undertakings.


  • He is a 1984 - batch IAS officer of Jharkhand cadre.                                                                                                                                                                                                                               
  • The appointments committee of the cabinet  headed by pm modi has approved his appointment for three years.                                                                                                                                                               
  • He has appointment in place of kapil dev tripathi who has recent taken over as the secretary to president ram Nath kovind.
